Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year and thank you for visiting our website! Our mission is to inspire a love of reading and to make every student who walks through our door feel welcome, valued and to see themselves reflected in our collection of books and resources.

Meet the library staff!
Hello! My name is Candice Bustos and this is my sixth year as the full time librarian at PVE. I have previously worked as the part time librarian at PVE for two years, so eight years altogether! I have also taught Library for grades K-5 in Easton School District, and was a kindergarten teacher in Allentown. I have a masters degree in Library Science, a K-6 teaching certification, and an ESL certification. Some of my favorite things to do are reading, camping, and spending time with my family. One of the most fulfilling aspects of teaching library is sharing books that open children up to worlds and cultures different from their own. I try very hard to ensure all my students and their families are reflected in our library collection. We have a new para in the library this year, Mrs. Maltez! We are so lucky to have her!
